Beginning with the introduction of the DF350A and DF325A in 2017, Suzuki has honed its technical capabilities with the aim of providing customers with an ULTIMATE Marine Life.
Now, Suzuki has improved this existing Flagship Family(DF350A / 325A / 300B) and developed new technologies in order to make further progress while maintaining this stance.
SUZUKI will continue to evolve in the future to provide more comfortable marine life to customers.
The steering cylinder is integrated in the middle unit, resulting in a simple appearance of the motorwell and a clean finish.
For some of the boat types, the external cylinder could interfere with the motorwell. With this new system, there are no worries of hitting. The system also enables the rigging to various types of boats.
Since the external cylinder is unnecessary, tilt-up angle of the engine will be wider regardless the shape of motorwell.
By securing more distance from water surface, dipping the engine in the water can be avoided.
The result is “less damage to the outboard motor”.
Integrated Steering System
Renewed Gear Case
The Integrated Steering System enables rigging without external steering cylinder, resulting in a cleaner motorwell and a clean finish.
The timing chain runs in an oil-bath so it never needs lubricating, and is equipped with an automatic hydraulic tensioner so it remains properly adjusted at all times.
The offset drive allows us to make our outboard engines smaller by moving the outboards centre of gravity forward, improving weight distribution, power output, balance and reduces vibration.
The Lean Burn Control System supplies the right fuel and air mixture depending on the navigation conditions
The system is controlled by hydraulic pressure from the oil pump and the process happens automatically so all you have to do is enjoy the power and performance.
This new technology provides more grip underwater and because the contra-rotating propellers distribute the engine torque more evenly over the two propellers the torque per propeller decreases and gear diameter can be reduced.
Operation from the remote control is delivered to outboard via an electric signal and not by the traditional mechanical control cables.
The Duel Louver System incorporate a double shield of blades - each one designed in a dog-led shape and results in eliminating water intake, even in the face of the most severe on the water testing. The outer blades removes the spray and drains the mist resulting in the intake air temperature being free of moisture and no higher than 10º above ambient.
An ergonomic case design adds to the outboards computational dynamics designed to and development to minimize resistance and provide the most efficient flow of water to the propellers.
It helps protect the engine from water in the fuel using a water detecting fuel filter to alert the operator with both visual and audio warnings when water is present in the fuel.
