As the first of Suzuki’s new generation four-strokes, they are a showcase of advancements and achievements – such as digital sequential electronic fuel injection, a powerful 2.59:1 final drive ratio, and a zero-maintenance self-adjusting timing chain – that Suzuki has pioneered over the last ten years.
They also feature Suzuki’s proven offset drive shaft which, used in combination with a newly designed power head, contributes to making the DF90 the smallest and lightest four-stroke outboard in its class. The Lean Burn Control System supplies the right fuel and air mixture depending on the navigation conditions.
The timing chain runs in an oil-bath so it never needs lubricating, and is equipped with an automatic hydraulic tensioner so it remains properly adjusted at all times.
Designed with convenience in mind the system offers simple, stress-free starting and acts as an immobiliser to help deter theft.
Protects the boat from damage when tilting the outboard acting as both a tilt limit and trim sender, the step-free, continuous system allows you to install the outboard on almost any boat.
